Khayar Tal Trek
Khayar Tal trekking is situated between Annapurna base Camp and Jomsom Trial. It is a beautiful Trekking area with mix of culture and excellent mountain views over the many Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Nilgiri. Beside the scenic extravaganza of the peaks, the warm hospitality of the Gurung people along the way.
We can start this trekking from Tadapani an excellent place for Rhododendron forest, fully camping equipments as well as food supply for almost 3 days is the most. This trek is an ideal place for those looking for some days out of the main track to off route. Indeed. Very few people know this newly introduced trekking area, which is another highlight among the trekking routes in Annapurna.
Itinerary I
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu Airport & Transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu (1315m) Pokhara (930m), drive 7 hours or fly 30 mins
Day 03: Pokhara drive to Phedi Trek to Tolka (1850m), 6 hrs
Day 04: Tolka - Ghandrung (2012m), 6 hrs
Day 05: Ghandrung - Tadapani (2610m), 3 hrs
Day 06: Tadapani - Dobato (3350m), 6 hrs
Day 07: Dobato - Chistibung (3000m), 5 hrs
Day 08: Chistibung - Khopra Danda (4020m), 5 hrs
Day 09: Khopra Danda - Khayar Base Camp (4620m), 6 hrs
Day 10: Khayar Base Camp - visit Khayar Lake (4827m), 3 hrs
Day 11: Khayar Base Camp - Khopra Danda (4020m), 5 hrs
Day 12: Khopra Danda - Swata (2270m), 5 hrs
Day 13: Swata - Ghorepani (2855m), 3.5 hrs
Day 14: Ghorepani - Birethanti (1080m), 6 hrs
Day 15: Birethanti - Nayapul (1070m), drive to Pokhara and to Kathmandu.
Annapurna Khayer Trekking Itinerary II
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu international airport(1334m), transfer to Hotel, tour briefing.
Day 02: After breakfast, Tour guide will take to you for Historical monuments sightseeing in kathmandu valley such as Bhaktapur,pasupatinath,Boudhhanath, Kathmandu durbar square,Monkey temple etc overnight at kathmandu.
Day 03: After breakfast, by tourist bus or by flight to pokhara (915m). overnight at pokhara
Day 04: Drive to Phedi by private vehicle and trek to Pothana,(1825m) Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 05: Pothana trek to Jhinu Dada (1715m)where you will enjoy with natural hot spring (Tatopani), Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 06: Jhinu Dada trek to Tadapani (2045m), Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 07: Tadapani to Bhainsi Kharka (1745m), Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 08: Bhaisi kharak trek to Kristibung(2985m), Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 09: Kristibung trek to Khopra Phedi (3350m), Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 10: Khopra Phedi trek to Khopra Hill(4025m), Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 11: Acclimatization at Khopra Hill, Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 12: Khopra Hill trek to Jaljala(3525m), Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 13: Jaljala trek to Khayar Lake(4300m) and back to Jaljala, Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 14: Jaljala trek to Khopra Phedi, Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 15: Khopra phedi trek to Swanta(2270m), Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 16: Swanta trek to Ghorepani,(2855m) Overnight at Tented camp.
Day 17: Ghorepanii to early in the morning to poon hill( 3210m) where you can see most panoramic view including the Fishtail( Machhapuchhare) , Annapurna I , Annapurna
