MT CHO OYO 8,201/26,906FT.
Cho oyu is the sixth highest Mountain in the world. Located in a Short distance to the west of Everest and Lhotse in the Khumbu region (eastern Nepal with along the Tibetan border). Its towering peak stands with Everest well above the surrounding mountains. It became a familiar landmark to climbers ascending Everest’s North face. West from cho oyu is Nangpa La, the main trading route between Solu Khumbu and Tibet.
ITINERARY 1
Day 1 Arrival in kathmandu, move to Hotel.
Day 2 One and Half hour drive to Nagarkot. Accommodation in luxury tents for acclimatization.
Day 3 Early morning sunrise view of the mountains. Visit some highest points to observe kathmandu Valley and overnight at camp.
Day 4 Fly to Lukla(2800m) and Trek to Phakding(2640m). Overnight in Hotel.
Day 5 Trek to Namche Bazar (3446m). Overnight in Hotel.
Day 6 acclimatization in Namche Bazar. Visit to Sherpa Villages.(Khumjung, Thame etc)
Day 7 Trek to Dole(4200m).Overnight in Tent.
Day 8 Trek to Gokyo, Gokyo Lake.(4750m) Overnight in Tent.
Day 9 Rest day in Gokyo for acclimatization.
Day 10 Trek to Ngozumba Tso.
Day 11 Trek to Cho Oyu Base Camp.
Day 12-13 Acclimatization and some climbing Practice.
Day 14-41 Climbing Period.
Day 42 Cleaning of Base Camp.
Day 43 Trek Back to Gokyo. Overnight in Tent.
Day 44 Trek Back to Khumjung. Overnight in Tent.
Day 45 Trek back to Phakding. Overnight in Tent.
Day 46 Trek back to Lukla.
Day 47 Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel.

Day 8 Drive to Cho Oyu Base Camp(4700m)
Day 9 Stay in the Base Camp. Practice Climbing.
Day 10 Trek to Advance Base Camp(5200m)
Day 11 Acclimatization in Advance Base Camp.
Day 12-34 Climbing Period
Day 35 Back to Advance Base Camp.
Day 36 Return to Base Camp.
Day 37 Cleaning of Base Camp.
Day 38 Drive to Zhangmu. Overnight in Hotel
Day 39 Return back to Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel.
